Antarctic Sea Ice Sets Another Record – For Most Ice Ever This Time of Year

Antarctic sea ice set another record this past week, with the most amount of ice ever recorded on day 256 of the calendar year (September 12 of this leap year). Please, nobody tell the mainstream media or they might have to retract some stories and admit they are misrepresenting scientific data.

National Public Radio (NPR) published an article on its website last month claiming, “Ten years ago, a piece of ice the size of Rhode Island disintegrated and melted in the waters off Antarctica. Two other massive ice shelves along the Antarctic Peninsula had suffered similar fates a few years before. The events became poster children for the effects of global warming. … There’s no question that unusually warm air triggered the final demise of these huge chunks of ice.”

NPR failed to mention anywhere in its article that Antarctic sea ice has been growing since satellites first began measuring the ice 33 years ago and the sea ice has been above the 33-year average throughout 2012.

Rockefellers Preside Over Creation Of Global Journalist Group To “Advance Reporting On Religion”

The Rockefeller Foundation has recently presided over the creation of a new international journalism group to “advance reporting on religion”, the AP reports.

The stated goal of the newly created International Association of Religion Journalists? In the words of the steering committee’s chair Maria-Paz Lopez: to help journalists write “with accuracy, fairness and balance” on all religious matters.

Teaming up with the Association of Religion Data Archives, the international group launched itswebsite, describing itself as “the world’s first international body of religion journalists provides editors, reporters and analysts with the tools, resources and support to promote accurate, fair and balanced reporting on religion worldwide.”

“The International Association of Religion Journalists (IARJ) was founded by leading journalists from 23 countries in six continents at a meeting at The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center in Italy. Nearly 400 journalists from more than 90 nations have been accepted into the new organization.”, the group’s website states.

Court Throws Out Climate Change Deniers’ Lawsuit Against Scientists

New Zealand’s High Court on Friday dismissed a challenge launched by climate change sceptics against a government research agency’s finding that the temperature had risen in the past century.

The court backed the science that led the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) to conclude that New Zealand’s climate warmed almost one degree Celsius between 1909 and 2009.

New Zealand Climate Science Education Trust, a private body that rejects the argument that human activity has caused global warming, went to court alleging NIWA’s methodology was flawed and its findings were not peer reviewed.

NASA Photographs a Tendril-Like Solar Eruption in Stunning Detail

On August 31, 2012 a long filament of solar material that had been hovering in the sun’s atmosphere, the corona, erupted out into space at 4:36 p.m. EDT. The coronal mass ejection, or CME, traveled at over 900 miles per second. The CME did not travel directly toward Earth, but did connect with Earth’s magnetic environment, or magnetosphere, with a glancing blow. causing aurora to appear on the night of Monday, September 3.

Cost of Chemtrail Program Put At $5 Billion a Year

The cost of a massive program to spray sun-dimming particles into the upper atmosphere in the name of halting global warming, a process some contend is already underway via chemtrails, has been put at just below $5 billion dollars a year.

U.S. scientists writing in the journal Environmental Research Letters concluded that “Planes or airships could carry sun-dimming materials high into the atmosphere for an affordable price tag of below $5 billion a year as a way to slow climate change,” reports Reuters, a process characterized as “both feasible and affordable.”

The cost of using specially adapted aircraft able to operate at high altitudes as a delivery system to disperse sulphur particles was put at $1 to $2 billion a year. Using “giant guns or rockets” would be more expensive.
